9/16" SoftWeb™ Combo Collar
9/16" SoftWeb™ Combo Collar
Recommended for small to medium large breeds. Popular with training schools. Combines the control of the Soft Slip™ collar with the ease of the Soft Snap™ collar.
While the convenient side-release buckle makes this buckle collar easy to put on and take off, the slip adds more control.
If you have a dog that pulls or lunges and strength is a factor, we suggest our SoftSlip™ collar instead.
SoftWeb™ products are soft, strong, and machine washable, retaining their original brilliant color wash after wash.
SoftWeb™ will not damage, cut or discolor neck fur, even when wet.
Nylon side release buckle and nylon slide adjustment, with black stainless steel welded d-ring.
Choose from 2 adjustable sizes: Medium 12-19 inches or Large 16-24 inches.
Choose from 5 different colors: Black, Purple, Red, Royal Blue and Teal.
Machine washable! Our SoftWeb™ Collars wash beautifully. SoftWeb™ Collars are colorfast and maintain their suppleness after repeated washings. If you feel your collar is getting stiffer than it was originally, it is probably time to wash it!
FIT & SAFETY
When the collar is properly adjusted, pulling on the "live" or end ring will cause the collar to tighten around your dog's neck, but not to the point of choking, while at the same time not allowing the dog to "back out" of the collar. If you have an escape artist, make sure, as you would with any collar, that you double check to see that the collar is snug enough.
For my own dogs I place the collar at the narrowest part of the neck, just behind the ears, pull on the "live" ring so that it snugs up around the dog's neck, then check to see that I can get a couple of fingers (flat) between the collar and the dog's neck. This way my dog can't back out of the collar, yet there will be no choking.
Fitting adjustments are easiest to do with the collar off of your dog. As you would with any collar, always check the collar after any adjustment. If you have a coated breed check the adjustment as she/he is loosing coat or growing in new coat — with a heavily coated breed it can make a difference.
